Can I read Understanding Optical Memory Types on EtoBox?

Understanding Optical Memory Types by Vinoothini Manogaran is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is Understanding Optical Memory Types about?

Optical memory uses lasers to store data on optical disks. There are three main types: read-only, write-once/read-many (WORM), and erasable. Read-only disks can only be read from, WORM disks can be written to once but then cannot be erased or modified, and erasable disks allow writing and erasing data multiple times. The data is stored by altering tiny areas on the disk using heat from a laser, either by creating bubbles to represent data bits or using magneto-optical techniques to orient magnetic domains.
