This study investigated the effects of ibuprofen on osteoblast proliferation, differentiation, antigen expression, and phagocytic capacity using the human osteosarcoma cell line MG-63 as an osteoblast model. The results showed that therapeutic doses of ibuprofen (5 and 25 μM) did not affect cell proliferation or osteocalcin synthesis.
