This study explored the safety and feasibility of remotely supervised transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in individuals with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Two participants with ALS completed 24 remotely supervised sessions of anodal tDCS over 8 weeks. Preliminary findings suggest the remotely supervised tDCS protocol was safe and feasible for individuals with ALS, and could be used in future long-term studies to evaluate clinical and neurophysiological effects of home-based tDCS in ALS.
