Ceiba House is located in Aguascalientes, Mexico. It was designed to expand an existing traditional Mexican home for an artist who practices yoga and dance. The architect, Jorge Ramirez, preserved an old fruit tree and mud walls while adding a white dance studio on top of the house. This provides a yoga room, two new bedrooms, and expanded kitchen and living areas while maintaining elements of the original home. The dance studio has large glass walls and openings that provide light and views of the courtyar
