What is Famotidine Orally Disintegrating Tablets Design about?

This study aimed to formulate and evaluate orally disintegrating tablets of famotidine using croscarmellose sodium and sodium starch glycolate as superdisintegrants. A 32 full factorial design was used to evaluate the effects of different amounts of these superdisintegrants on the disintegration and wetting times of the tablets. The results showed that the amounts of superdisintegrants significantly affected the tablet properties and their interactions could be described by polynomial equations.
