What is Roro Jonggrang: A Timeless Legend about?

The story describes a battle between the kingdoms of Pengging and Keraton Boko, ruled by Prabu Boko. Raden Bandung Bondowoso of Pengging defeats Prabu Boko but falls in love with his daughter, Roro Jonggrang. To avoid marrying him, she tasks him with building a well and 1,000 temples in one night. He completes 999 but Roro Jonggrang tricks him by making him think it is morning. Angry at being deceived, Raden Bandung curses Roro Jonggrang to turn into stone.
