Interventional MRI techniques including thermal ablation and biopsy procedures have gained prominence in the last few years [1]. HIFU and laser techniques have been used for ablation procedures. However, monitoring of radiofrequency lesioning with MRI has not been realizable due to the noise from the radiofrequency generator. We have developed a technique which allows us to visualize the heat lesions during the actual radiofrequency ablation process, utilizing various types of filters to eliminate the electronic noise.
