Composite Resin Staining from Red Wine by ilovebooksforever is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the effect of prior water immersion on the color stability of a composite resin when exposed to red wine staining. Seventy disc-shaped specimens were tested with varying immersion times, and results showed no significant difference in color stability compared to the control group, indicating that water uptake does not reduce susceptibility to staining. The findings suggest that the longevity of aesthetic restorations may not be improved by prior hydration with water.
