The lands of Grimiron were long plagued by war until the followers of the goddess Repheen established dominion and introduced a contest of champions called mythball to settle disputes instead of war. Mythball quickly became popular and helped end the endless wars. The contest pits teams of champions against each other on the field, with the team that scores the most points through goals or breaching the opposing bastion declared the winner.
