What is Homework Should Be Optional for Students about?

The speaker argues that homework should be optional for students, claiming it can lead to stress and fatigue after long school hours. They emphasize the importance of independent learning and suggest that teachers should focus on effective teaching during class instead of assigning homework. The speaker also highlights that not all students have the same support at home, and making homework optional would allow those who need extra practice to choose it without penalizing others.
