What is Euclid about?

Euclid of Alexandria was a Greek mathematician considered the "Father of Geometry" who lived from 325-205 BC. He taught at the library in Alexandria, Egypt and is best known for creating the Elements, a 13 volume work on geometry and number theory that was used as the standard mathematics textbook for over 2000 years. The Elements began by defining basic terms and postulates and then methodically proved 467 propositions concerning plane and solid geometry, numbers, proportions, constructions and irrationals
