What is Indian Autism Assessment Scale about?

This document describes an assessment scale for autism called the Indian Scale for Assessment of Autism. The scale contains 40 statements divided into 6 domains: social relationship and reciprocity, emotional responsiveness, speech-language and communication, behavior patterns, sensory aspects, and cognitive component. Raters use the scale to observe a child and interview parents in order to assess autism symptoms by indicating whether each statement applies rarely, sometimes, frequently, mostly, or always.
