Alyaf A401 is a nonwoven geotextile made from staple polyester fibers that are mechanically bonded through needle punching. The geotextile has a tensile strength of 17 kN/m in the cross direction and 11.2 kN/m in the machine direction, and is UV resistant with a melting point of 256°C. Alyaf geotextiles are manufactured and tested according to ISO quality, environmental, and safety standards. The geotextile is used in applications such as soil separation, drainage, and erosion control.
