What is Constantine about?

The document summarizes the relationships between the Church and the State during the 3rd century AD and the conversion of Constantine. It explains that the Church was persecuted by various Roman emperors until Galerius authorized it. Then, Diocletian initiated the last and most cruel persecution against Christians. Constantine converted to Christianity before defeating his rival Maxentius in 312, which led to Christianity being tolerated in the Roman Empire.
