What is 自我扩张模型研究综述 about?

The self-expansion model posits that individuals have a fundamental motivation to expand their self-concept by incorporating others, which enhances self-efficacy. This model serves as a theoretical framework for understanding various psychological phenomena related to relationships and has practical applications, such as in smoking cessation. However, the model requires further refinement and integration with other psychological theories for future research.
