What is Understanding the Works of Mercy about?

This document describes the works of mercy, which are charitable actions to help those in need. It explains that there are 7 corporal works such as visiting the sick and feeding the hungry, and 7 spiritual works such as teaching the ignorant and comforting the sorrowful. The purpose of the works of mercy is to serve others with faith and charity, especially the most needy, because Jesus said that whatever we do for others is as if we were doing it for him.
