About this document

Biomarkers of Inflammation Oxidative Stress and Endothelial Dysfunction in Early Detection of Diabetic Foot Ulcers by shushma rao is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates serum biomarkers related to inflammation, oxidative stress, and endothelial dysfunction for the early detection of diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) in a South Indian population. Results indicate that elevated levels of IL-6, TNF-α, CRP, MDA, and MMP-9 are associated with DFU severity, with MMP-9 and CRP showing the highest diagnostic potential. The findings suggest integrating biomarker-based approaches into diabetes care could enhance early intervention and reduce DFU complications.
