The study evaluated the fermentation characteristics and nutritive value of ensiled and dried pomegranate seeds using in vitro gas production. Ensiling increased gas production and rate of gas production compared to drying. Ensiling also increased organic matter digestibility, metabolizable energy, net energy for lactation, and short chain fatty acid production relative to drying. Ensiling pomegranate seeds improves their nutritive value for ruminant animals.
