What is Fernando Amorsolo: Master of Light about?

Fernando Amorsolo was one of the most important Filipino painters known for his mastery of light and depictions of rural Philippine landscapes and portraits. One of his most famous works from 1922 was "Rice Planting" which depicted farmers working in a rice field on a bright sunny day using mainly pastel colors to create a feeling of calm. Despite the American colonial rule at the time, the painting reflected true Filipino culture and traditions.
