Kancerla Gopanna, also known as Bhadrachala Ramadasu, was a 17th century Telugu poet and devotee of Rama. He was born in present-day Khammam district of Telangana. As the tahsildar of Bhadrachalam, he renovated the dilapidated Rama temple there, spending tax revenues collected for the Muslim king.
