What is COVID-19 Prevention Directive Ethiopia 2022 about?

This directive amends an earlier directive on controlling COVID-19 by imposing new prohibited activities and duties. It requires anyone showing COVID symptoms to wear a mask, get tested, and isolate if positive. It also mandates that employees of health, transportation, and other frontline sectors be vaccinated. Congregate settings like prisons must ensure staff vaccination as well. The directive repeals the earlier version and takes effect upon registration by the Ministry of Justice.
