Dan Piraro was raised in a filthy mobile home in the bottom of a strip-mining pit in downtown Tokyo. Without mooney for food or clothing, he and his eight sisters were forced to steal software secrets from the government and sell them on the international black market. As a condition of his parole in 1986, he became a cartoonist. He has a wife, some kids, some pets and lives someplace in the bottom half of the United States of America, the greatest country on earth or anywhere else. Because of the growing popularity of his syndicated newspaper features, BIZARRO, he receives over 50 e-mail letters a day and earns somewhere between minimum wage and all the money in the world.
