What is Caffeine Improves Sprint Time in Simulated Freestyle Swimming Competition But Not The Vertical Jump in Female Swimmers about?

This study investigates the effects of caffeine (CAF) supplementation on sprint swimming performance and other physical metrics in moderately trained female swimmers. Results indicate that CAF significantly improved sprint times in 25m and 50m freestyle swimming but did not affect vertical jump, auditory reaction time, or balance. The findings suggest that incorporating CAF into nutrition plans may enhance performance in short-distance swimming events.
