What is Safe Skydiving Awareness for Pilots about?

The U.S. Parachute Association emphasizes the importance of awareness for pilots regarding parachute activities at airports to prevent conflicts. Pilots can utilize tools such as VFR Flight Following, sectional charts, ForeFlight, NOTAMs, and Airport/Facility Directories to stay informed about parachute jump areas. It is advised that pilots maintain a safe distance from active jump zones and remain vigilant to ensure safety for both parachutists and aircraft.
