What is Paul Villard about?
Gamma radiation refers to electromagnetic radiation of an extremely high frequency and energy consisting of high-energy photons. It is produced during radioactive decay in atomic nuclei and is highly penetrating and ionizing. Paul Villard discovered gamma radiation in 1900 while studying radiation emitted from radium.
