This study compared pain levels in 36 orthodontic patients using three types of appliances: conventional MBT, self-ligating Damon, and clear aligners. Results indicated that patients with clear aligners experienced significantly less pain than those with conventional and self-ligating appliances, with pain peaking at 24 hours and decreasing by day 7.
