This document discusses a study that analyzed the effects of varying alkaline concentration on the lignocellulosic composition of dried ripe carabao mango peelings. Untreated peelings were found to contain high levels of extractives and lignin. Peelings were then treated with three concentrations of sodium hydroxide (NaOH): 0.6M, 0.8M, and 1.0M.
