The Baywalk is a 2-kilometer promenade along Manila Bay in Manila, Philippines. It was once a popular evening spot with cafes and live performances but was later neglected. The national government then rehabilitated the Baywalk after it was damaged by storms. Originally, architect Daniel Burnham envisioned the boulevard extending much further as a continuous parkway along the shore with trees, paths, and views of the sea.
