What is Ward about?

1. The surgeon makes incisions and raises a flap to expose the impacted tooth. 2. Bone overlying the tooth is removed using burs or chisels to fully expose the crown. 3. The tooth is sectioned into segments using fissure burs if needed for easier removal. 4. The segments are delivered out of the socket using elevators or forceps. The socket is then cleaned and sutured.
