What is Mobile WLAN Performance with Mobility about?

This lab simulates mobility in a wireless local area network to study its effects on TCP performance and the hidden node problem. Mobile workstations will run FTP sessions to a server over Wi-Fi. The role of RTS/CTS frames in avoiding collisions caused by hidden nodes under mobility will be examined. Node trajectories, TCP statistics, and traffic received will be captured with and without RTS/CTS to analyze their impact.
