This study investigates the safety of a two-dose schedule of the COVID-19 inactivated vaccine (CoronaVac) followed by additional mRNA doses in immunocompromised individuals compared to immunocompetent individuals. Adverse reactions were more frequent in the immunocompromised group after the CoronaVac doses, while immunocompetent individuals reported more reactions after the mRNA doses. Overall, both vaccines were found to be safe for immunocompromised participants.
