About this document
Bird Survey Protocol for Urban Ecosystems by ahmad ajabbar is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The CAP LTER bird project aims to document changes in bird populations over time and space in the Phoenix area, and determine factors influencing these changes. Scientists conduct bird counts in 4 habitats at 51 sites 4 times per year, identifying and counting all birds seen or heard for 15 minutes at each point. They hope to understand how land use affects birds and predict areas of high diversity as urban development proceeds. The scientists are particularly interested in 7 common bird species.
