About this document

Reflection and Image Formation in Optics by Vansh Rajpoot is a document available to read on EtoBox.

When light rays strike the boundary between two mediums, reflection occurs. During reflection, the velocity, wavelength, and frequency of light remain the same but intensity decreases. Reflection also causes a phase change of π if reflecting from a denser medium. Real images are formed when light rays actually meet at a point after reflection or refraction, while virtual images appear to meet but do not actually form at a point.
