Magnolia Editions is an art studio in Oakland, California that experiments with traditional and digital printmaking techniques. The studio is developing a new "direct-to-plate" photogravure process that prints images directly onto copper plates using a large UV-cured inkjet printer, instead of the traditional toxic and difficult process of transferring images to plates.
