About this document

Accelerated Carbonation Test Chamber by Benharzallah Krobba is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This document describes an accelerated carbonation test chamber that was constructed using readily available materials to evaluate coatings for reducing carbonation in concrete. The custom-built chamber maintains uniform conditions of 4% carbon dioxide, 58-62% relative humidity, and 25°C temperature. Concrete samples coated with various cement-based products containing acrylic or styrene polymers were tested in the chamber. Carbonation depth was measured after 1-2 months to assess coating performance.
