When Jared Miller graduated from high school, he moved away from his hometown and went straight to college in Boston. His family was always supportive but he has kept a couple of secrets to himself. He is gay and he wants to be a chef, rather than a therapist like his parents want him to be. Tanner Thorton went to a college near his hometown and stayed close to his parents.
