What is Bishop Cozzens on Fiducia Supplicans about?

The Vatican issued a statement, Fiducia Supplicans, addressing the blessing of same-sex couples. While the Church cannot bless same-sex unions, which are contrary to Gospel teaching on marriage, it states individuals in same-sex unions can receive a blessing. This blessing is not intended to legitimize relationships but to invite people to open their lives to God, live better according to Gospel values, and seek God
