The study evaluated the effectiveness of thin, shallow soil-cement panels in reducing ground motion amplification on soft soil sites. A soft clay profile was tested on a shake table with and without soil-cement reinforcement panels. The results showed that soil-cement panels reduced seismic ground amplification by up to 48% when replacing 30% of the soil area.
