This compilation will attempt to summarize the rather extensive amount of data on dia-and paramagnetic susceptibilities available for coordination and organometallic transition metal compounds. Most of the susceptibilities were measured in a very limited range of temperatures, usually between room temperature and the temperature of liquid nitrogen (77 "K), or, even more often, at room temperature only. This is somewhat disappointing from a physicist's point of view, and is due to the fact that susceptibilities were widely used by chemists to establish oxidation state, stereochemistry, and, to a certain extent, the bonding properties in such compounds. But, for a limited number of compounds, susceptibilities down to liquid helium temperature, and sometimes even lower, as well as data on magnetic anisotropies and principal magnetic susceptibilities were determined. These data, when available, are presented together with the other magnetic data of the respective compound in 2 rather than scattered in separate tables.
