Abel de Larue was a French sorcerer influenced by a demon. He was placed in a monastery as a child where he was abused, causing him to plot revenge. A black dog appeared to him, promising to help him in exchange for his surrender. However, when Abel was arrested for sorcery, the demon did not rescue him and he was found guilty and hanged. Even after death, his spirit lives on filled with hatred, causing horror and destruction.
