This study evaluates the effectiveness of flash glucose monitoring (FGM) compared to conventional self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) in achieving glycemic control in patients with non-insulin-treated type 2 diabetes. Results showed that FGM led to a greater reduction in HbA1c levels and improved treatment satisfaction compared to SMBG after 24 weeks. The findings suggest that FGM may be more beneficial for glycemic control in this patient population.
