Cloud Tier enables moving backup data from the active tier of Dell EMC PowerProtect DD appliances to object storage in the public, private, or hybrid cloud for long-term retention. Only unique, deduplicated data is transferred. Supported Dell EMC PowerProtect DD models range from 3.3TB to 3PB of cloud capacity. Data movement policies control how and when data moves between the active and cloud tiers.
