About this document

Cost Analysis of Maize Stalk Fodder by Arghya Paul is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The study focuses on the preparation and preservation of maize stalk fodder for cattle to address feed shortages during dry seasons. An improved BARI chopper was developed to chop maize stalk into smaller sizes, enhancing its palatability for cattle, and various combinations of binding materials were tested for making fodder blocks. The results indicated that smaller chopped pieces and specific binding combinations significantly increased cattle acceptance and storage viability of the fodder.
