What is Fibrohistiocytic Tumors Overview about?

These tumors are characterized by local recurrence but limited metastasis. They include dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, giant cell fibroblastoma, angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma, plexiform fibrohistiocytic tumor, and soft tissue giant cell tumor of low malignant potential. They have in common a significant risk of local recurrence due to infiltration of surrounding tissue, but low risk of spreading to distant sites.
