What is Tiramisu Layer Cake Recipe about?

The document describes a failed attempt at making a tiramisu roulade that was instead made into a layered cake. It provides a recipe for a tiramisu layer cake with coffee-flavored sponge cake layers filled with a mascarpone cream and brushed with a coffee syrup. While intended as a roulade, the sponge cakes cracked when rolling so they were layered instead. The finished cake had moist sponge cake layers filled with a creamy mascarpone filling and enrobed in coffee syrup.
