What is History of the Malabon Tramline about?

The Malabon Line was the first railway in the Philippines, opening in 1888. It ran between Tondo and Malabon, originally using steam power before being electrified in 1905. The line was built to connect Manila and Malabon, and was operated first by Compañia de los Tranvias de Filipinas and later by Manila Electric Railroad & Light Company. It was the longest of the original tram lines at 7 kilometers and included stations in Malabon, Maypajo, and Pritil.
