What is Hyaluronic Acid Applications to Genital Area about?
Dermal fillers, also known as "injectable implants," "soft tissue fillers," or "wrinkle fillers" are medical device implants approved by the FDA for use in helping to create a smoother and/ or fuller appearance in the face, including nasolabial folds, cheeks, chin, lips, and the backs of the hands. Hyaluronic acid fillers are the most preferred in cosmetic and regenerative medicine. Hyaluronic acid (HA), or hyaluronan, is a linear, high molecular weight (between 0.1 and 10 million Daltons) type of sugar with a polysaccharide structure formed by D-glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (Fig. 20.1). This kind of sugar is found in the dermis, epidermis, and cartilage in mammals. The name is derived from the Greek term "Hyalos" (glassy, transparent) and uronic acid. It is also the basic building block of the connective tissue extracellular matrix. It is science and knowledge that guides everything in the world, for materiality, for spirituality, for life, for success. Seeking a guide other than science and knowledge is heedlessness, ignorance, deviation from the right path.
