Can I read Airport Air Quality on EtoBox?

Airport Air Quality by Emanuel Fleuti is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Airport Air Quality about?

At local and national levels, more and more attention is being given to airports as sometimes major contributors to local air pollution. In consequence, airports are challenged to improve their knowledge of airport induced emissions and their contribution to local pollution and even mitigation planning. resent discussions on aviation and the environment focus mostly on the global scale and a lot of research activities have been dedicated to better understanding of the mechanisms and implications of air traffic in the atmosphere. But there's another aspect as well. Airports are facing more and more the fact that increasing attention is given to the effects of air traffic on local air pollution in the general vicinity of airports. While emissions from sources like road traffic or housing and industries are decreasing due to more stringent emission limits (e.g. Euro III or IV for trucks), absolute air traffic emissions are increasing due to the steady growth of traffic. The specific improvements in gaseous emissions from aviation are far less than the corresponding increase in traffic volume. Because of this fact and the fact that aviation so far had little to contribute to the overal
