About this document
Introduction to ANOVA Techniques by Maryann Requina Anfox is a document available to read on EtoBox.
ANOVA is a statistical technique used to compare differences between group means. It can compare more than two groups, unlike the t-test. ANOVA prevents type 1 errors from multiple t-tests. There are one-way and two-way ANOVAs. One-way has one independent variable while two-way has two. ANOVA calculates an F-ratio by dividing the variance between groups by the variance within groups to determine if differences are statistically significant.
