What is Montresor about?

Montresor lures Fortunato into the catacombs under the guise of drinking wine. As they go deeper, Fortunato begins coughing and feels dizzy from the wine. Montresor uses this opportunity to chain Fortunato inside a crypt wall and seals him in by brick, revealing his plan for revenge against Fortunato. Fortunato pleads for his life but Montresor refuses to spare him, succeeding in killing Fortunato to gain revenge.
